William Hamilton

William LeRoy Hamilton, 56, of 129 Main St, Westernport, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland.

Born April 2, 1957 in Keyser, WV, he was the son of Ida (Wilt) Hamilton of Westernport, and the late LeRoy Hamilton.  He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Eugene Hamilton.

“Bill” formerly worked as a printer.  He was a member of Black Hawk Tribe #131 Improved Order of Redmen.

In addition to his mother, Ida, he leaves behind a son, William Hamilton of Piedmont, WV, a daughter, Angel Hamilton of Westernport, three brothers, Richard Hamilton and wife Linda of Lonaconing, David Hamilton and girl friend, Donna Jernell of Westernport, James Hamilton and wife Diana of Springfield, WV, a sister, Delores Cogan and husband John of Westernport, three grandchildren, Levi DeLawder, William Gage Hamilton and Olivia Hamilton, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Friday from 4 to 7 PM.  A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home chapel on Friday at 7:00 PM, with Rev. David Steiding officiating.

Interment will be in Bloomington Cemetery at a later date.
