Sharon Long

Barton, MD

Sharon Long, 83, of Barton, went to be with the Lord, Friday March 22nd. Born August 23, 1935, she was the daughter of the late George and Marie Arnold.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Bob Miller of Barton and second husband, Darl Long of Kingwood. Also preceding her in death are two sisters, Betty Matthews and Frances Cox and one brother, James Arnold.

Sharon is survived by her daughters, Sylvia Pugh and husband, Bud of Short Gap, Roberta Mills and fiancé, Scott Wilson of Cumberland, Kim Miller of Barton, and Stephanie Howe and husband, Doug of Barton; her sons, Steven Miller of Westernport and Nelson Lyons and wife, Katie of Romney; thirteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Sharon was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Westernport.

Friends and family will be received on Monday, March 25th at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport from 11 AM to 1 PM.  A funeral service will take place following the visitation at 1pm with Pastor Greg Hammond officiating.
