Ruth Naomi Miller, 95 of LaVale entered into Heaven’s gates on July 14, 2022.
Born October 20, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Beulah (Dye) Myers. She was also preceded in death by her brother, John Myers.
Ruth was a loving and faithful wife. The Lord brought Ruth and Harry together and with their faith, the Lord kept them together for 74 years. She was a strong, praying Mother who encouraged and supported her children. She was selfless, and it was evident, always putting her family and others first. Ruth was a 1944 graduate of Barton High School. She enjoyed traveling and spending quality time with her family.
She was a faithful member of the Mountain Lake Independent Baptist Church. Christ always came first for Ruth. Ruth fought the good fight and finished the course. She was loved by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.
Ruth is survived by her loving husband, Harry V. Miller of LaVale; her children, Donna Miller of Oakland, Harry V. Miller II and wife Deanna of Gilbert, AZ, Amy Clayton and husband Ken of Clifton Park, NY and Andrea Miller of Morgantown, WV. She is also survived by her sister, Shirley Neilson and husband Charles of Frostburg; grandchildren, Jason Miller and wife Leah of Prescott, AZ, Amanda Froes and husband Jonathan of Little Elm, TX, Amber Wood and husband Ron of Pearisburg, VA, Kerri Myers and husband Garrett of Phenix City, AL, Michele Moore and husband DeWayne of Clifton Park, NY. Ruth is survived by her great grandchildren, Owen and Natalie Miller, Amanda G. Froes, Landon, Reagan and Trenton Wood, Isabella, Wesley, Ezekiel, and Clayton Myers, and Braelie Moore; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the Boal Memorial Chapel, Barton on Monday, July 18th from 4 to 8 p.m.
A funeral service will be held at the Mountain Lake Independent Baptist Church, Oakland on Tuesday, July 19th at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 10:00 a.m.
Interment will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow Mills.
