Rose Marie "Rosie" Michaels, 89, formerly of Piedmont, passed away on Friday, Feb. 24, 2017, at Moran Manor Nursing Center.
Born June 12, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (Spano) Patterson. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Michaels and her six sisters.
Rosie attended St. Peter's Catholic Church, Westernport. She was a member of the Victory Post 155 Ladies Auxiliary. Rosie volunteered at Moran Manor for many years.
Rosie is survived by her nieces, Christine Pushman of Arizona, Barbara Saylor of Virginia, Theresa Beshara of Connecticut; and her nephews, Richard McCarty and Robert Spano, both of South Carolina.
Family and friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017, from 10 a.m. to noon.
A funeral service will take place following the visitation at noon with Deacon Harold Bradley officiating.
Interment will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale.
