Ronald Pearce

Ronald R. Pearce, 59, of Westernport, died, Tuesday, August 1, 2017, after a difficult battle with cancer.

He was born in Cumberland on May 16, 1958, the son of Billy D. Pearce of Westernport, and the late Shirley (Barnard) Pearce.  He was also preceded in death by a sister, Lura (Pearce) Saville, and numerous aunts and uncles.

Ron was a 1976 graduate of Bruce High School.  He worked for Anchor Glass Container, B & B Concrete and was currently employed at Automated Packaging.  He loved hunting, fishing, four wheeling and Chevrolets.

He leaves behind his wife of 35 years, Karen (Clark) Pearce, a daughter, Jennifer Smith and husband Josh of Westernport, a son, Jacob Pearce of Luke, his favorite grandson, Carson, and his dog, Henry.  He is also survived by a brother, Tony Pearce of Westernport, a brother-in-law, Harold Clark and wife Kim of Keyser, WV, a sister-in-law, Shirley (Clark) Riggleman and husband David of Westernport, his uncles, Robert Pearce and wife Joann of Westernport, and Otho Barnard and wife Flo of Florida, numerous nieces, nephew, and his mother-in-law, Betty Clark of Westernport.

Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Friday, August 4th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.  A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home chapel on Saturday, August 5th at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Gary Morris officiating.

Interment will be in Turner Cemetery, Walnut Bottom Road, Swanton.
