Robert “Pjoe” Trenum, Jr, 70, of Rawlings passed away on January 23, 2025 with his family at his side.
Born May 30, 1954, he was the son of Eleanor (Green) Trenum and the late Robert McKinley Trenum, Sr. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Lonzy Clark, Jr.
Pjoe was a graduate of Bruce High School. He proudly served in the US Army, enlisting in 1973 and honorably discharged in 1979. He was a member of the Westernport American Legion and the Potomac Fire Company. Pjoe attended the Mt. Zion Church. He worked at his family-owned business, Trenum Plumbing and Heating for many years. He was employed at several different jobs before finding his passion driving a truck with BTC Trucking, where he retired after many years. Soon after retiring he returned to trucking part-time with First Fruits where he made many friends that were like family.
Along with his mother, Pjoe is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Norma (Kesner) Trenum; his children, Angela Nash and husband Tee, and Cristal Crossland and husband Jeff, both of Rawlings. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Tyler Nash and wife Lindsey, Brooke Martin and husband Austin, Hailey Crossland, Lacey Johnson and husband Aaron and Alyssa Crossland; and his great grandchildren, Bradley, Wyatt and Landon Nash, Bentlee and Hayden Martin, and a great grandchild on the way. Pjoe is survived by his siblings, Vivian Steffan and husband Michael, Rhonda Clark, Roger Trenum and wife Sherry, and Lawrence Trenum and Becky; his special nephews, Rob Trenum and Greg Kesner, who were like sons to him; along with many other nieces and nephews. He was also survived by many special friends, Mark and Brenda Saville, Pete Strawser, Buck Dayton, and his fur baby, Kenzy.
Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport on Tuesday, January 28th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 29th at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Eisenhour officiating.
Interment will be at the Omega Alpha Cemetery, Keyser.
