Nancy Jane Bray, 61, of Clayton St., Westernport, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland.
Nancy was born in Franklin on August 31, 1953. She was the daughter of the late Harrison “Lefty” Spiker and the late Ida (Smiley) Spiker. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Parker and two brothers, James “Jim” Spiker and Robert “Bob” Spiker.
Nancy graduated from Bruce High School class of 1971. She married her high school sweetheart, Donald Wayne Bray. Together they have two children, a daughter, Janeen Coleman (Matt), a son, Donald Wayne Bray Jr. “D.J.”, one grandchild, Ryan Coleman, who was the apple of Nancy’s eye. She is also survived by two sisters, Betty Moses (Charles) of Lonaconing, JoAnn Spiker (David) of Lonaconing, two brothers, Carl Spiker (Shirley) of Oakland, Tom Spiker (Cindy) of Lonaconing, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Ada Kittle and Rev. James Kesner officiating.
Interment will be in Bloomington Cemetery, Bloomington.
