Melissa Ann Hanna

 Melissa Ann Hanna, 54, of Westernport passed away on January 15, 2025 at Egle Nursing Home.

Born on February 10, 1970, Melissa was the daughter of the late William “Bill” and Janet (Tinsley) Hanna. She is survived by her three sisters; Tara Fazenbaker and husband, Greg, Bonnie Hanna, and Cindi Corbin and husband, Wes. She, also, has one brother, Tim Hanna. 

Melissa loved going to church, singing her hymns and being with her family. She was very lovable and always gave big hugs to her friends. Melissa attended Adult Day Care in Lonaconing. She started school when she was three at the Keyser Developmental Center. She, also, went to South Penn Elementary School, and Barton Elementary.

Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport on Saturday, January 18th from 2 to 3 p.m. Following the visitation, Pastor Scott Llewellyn with officiate the funeral service at 3:00 p.m..

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Egle Nursing Home for all of the compassionate care and love shown to Melissa for the five years she was a client at the home. 

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Egle Nursing Home or Alzheimer’s Association.
