Mary Ann Imhoff, 64, of 300 Marsh Ave, Westernport, passed away Friday, March 30, 2012 at Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser, WV.
Born October 21, 1947 in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Frederick B. and Nellie (Harr) Imhoff.
Mary Ann was a 1965 graduate of St. Peters High School, Westernport. She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church, Westernport, a member of the Catholic Daughters, and a member of the Westernport Heritage Society. She retired from the Brandenburg Center, having been a caretaker, and she was a caretaker for many shut-ins around the local area.
She leaves behind a daughter, Melissa Cheshire and husband Toby of Bloomington, four brothers, Terry Imhoff and wife Karen of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Frederick Imhoff of Annandale, VA, Ted Imhoff and wife Mary Ellen of Manassas, VA, and Karl Imhoff and wife Mary Elizabeth of Hedgesville, WV. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Katelyn Weadon, John Oliver Cheshire, and a great grandchild, Kaiden Jones, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peters Catholic Church on Monday at 2:00 PM, with Father Edward Hendricks as celebrant.
