Mary Blair Brandlen, 83 of Bloomington went to be with the Lord on September 18, 2016.

Born June 22, 1933, she was the daughter of the late James and Maude (Shoemaker) Jack. She is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Brandlen; a son, David “Mudball” Brandlen; and her brother, James D. Jack.

Mary was a graduate of Bruce High School. After high school, she attended Business School in Baltimore. Mary loved shopping, reading and swimming in her pool. But what she loved most was spending time with her late husband and her whole family.

She is survived by her sons, Jack Brandlen and wife Tonia of Westernport and Robert Steven Brandlen of Bloomington. Mary is also survived by her grandchildren, Jacqueline Brandlen and fiancé Bradley Phillips of Stephens City, VA, Jennifer Brandlen and fiancé Stephen Fazenbaker of Grantsville, Jessica Dunn and husband Mike of Lonaconing, Kristina Brandlen and fiancé Rich Kling of Royersford, PA, David Brandlen and wife Sherry of Royersford, PA; and her six great grandchildren, Keegan, Ayden, Alyssa, Lydia, Ethan and Liam. Mary is survived by a very special niece, friend and caregiver, Brenda Fazenbaker and her husband Randy and their family of Bloomington.

At Mary’s request her body was cremated.

A memorial service will be conducted at the Piedmont Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, September 21st, 2016 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Thomas Forbes officiating.
