Marlene Miller

Marlene Anne Miller, 80 of Westernport passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021.

Born December 9, 1940 she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret Moorehead. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter Miller; and her brothers, Jerry and Billy Moorehead.

Marlene was a 1958 graduate of Bruce High School. She worked at Walmart and retired after 16 years employed there. Marlene was loved by her fellow coworkers at Walmart, and she loved them as well. She enjoyed working in her yard and spending time with her kitty cats.

Marlene is survived by her children, Kathy Beverage and husband, Kenny of Westernport, Wendy Wilson and husband, Charlie of Westernport and Johnny Ryan of Los Angelas, CA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Haylee Wilson and Ryan Wilson; a special nephew, Johnny Moorehead and wife, Kyra; a special niece, Heidi Martin; and sister-in-law, Carole Moorehead.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, July 22nd at Boal Funeral Home, Westernport from 12 to 2 p.m. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. with Deacon Harold Bradley officiating.

Marlene’s family is especially thankful for the compassionate care provided by Dr. Watkins and Dr. Bijjula at UPMC Western Maryland , as well as Dr. Sprenkle at WVU Medicine. The family is grateful for all of Marlene’s caregivers this past year that have lovingly treated her like family.
