Mark Morris

“Start spreading the news, I’m leaving today”…Mark Allan Morris, 59 of Westernport passed away on May 30, 2021.

Born November 9, 1961, he was the son of Carol (Calvert) Morris and the late John Morris. He is also preceded in death by a brother, John “Dodge” Morris.

Mark loved his career in the pulp lab at the paper mill. He was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, New York Yankees and the Maryland Terps. Mark’s hobby was camping at his second home, the river. He enjoyed fishing, and drinking beer while bs-ing sitting in his swing by the fire. Mark was a family man, he loved his wife and children, he adored his grandchildren, he will be missed.

Along with his mother, Carol, Mark is also survived by his wife, Helen (Breuss) Morris; children, Tara Haggerty and husband, Chad of Westernport and Mark Morris II and wife, Amanda of Cumberland. Mark was Pap Pap to Chloe and Charlie Haggerty, and Jane, Ellie and Luke Morris. He is also survived by his brother, Terry Morris and wife, Beth of Martinsburg, WV; numerous nieces and nephews; and his extended Wheeling family.

Family and friends will be received at Boal Funeral Home, Westernport on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A service will take place following the visitation at 8:00 p.m.
