Mae Catherine "Kitty" Reeves

Westernport, MD

Mae Catherine “Kitty” Reeves, 83 of Westernport passed away on August 20, 2022 at Moran Manor Nursing Home.

Born April 24, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Elsie (Krumpach) Reeves.

Kitty is survived by several cousins and her special friend, Harold Grove.

Kitty was a Veteran of the Women’s Army Corps. She was very intelligent, having graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee and a J.D. degree from Emory Law School. Kitty was an administrative law judge in Baltimore.

Kitty enjoyed going out to dinner with friends and family. She was an animal lover, she especially loved dogs. Kitty was very giving, throughout the years she donated to many organizations. She was a very good friend to all that knew her.

Friends will be received at Boal Funeral Home, Westernport on Wednesday, August 24th from 4 to 6 p.m. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 6:00 p.m. with Deacon Harold Bradley officiating.

In lieu of flowers, Kitty’s giving spirit would want memorial contributions to be directed to the Tri-Towns EMS or the Potomac Fire Company.
