Linda Spiker

Linda Marie Spiker, 63, of Westernport, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 24, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Donnelly, her 2nd father, Charlie Blamer, brothers, John, Pat, and Timmy Donnelly and beloved husband, Robert “Bob” Spiker.

Linda is survived by her loving mother, Nancy (Mullan) Blamer of Keyser, WV; brother, Fred Blamer and wife Brenda of Brunswick; her children, Kimberly Wilson of Winchester, VA, Robin Spiker-Schade and husband Mark of Westernport, John Spiker of Cumberland, Dean Spiker and wife Kathleen of Westernport, and three grandchildren, Ryan and Joshua Lonas of Winchester, VA, and Hannah Spiker of Cumberland.  She is also survived by aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; her fur babies, Peachie, Bear, and Ms. Kitty; and her loving long-time friends, Belinda Sites and Marcia Parsons.

In addition to being a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, and true friend to many, she worked at Best Western in LaVale, Garrett Memorial Hospital in Oakland, and Martins in Keyser, WV.  She attended Allegany Community College in Cumberland and was member of Grace United Methodist Church in Keyser, WV.

Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Tuesday from 5 to 9 PM.  A funeral service will be conducted at Grace United Methodist Church, Keyser, WV, on Wednesday at 11:00 AM, with Rev. James McCune officiating.

Interment will be in Mt. View Cemetery, Moscow Mills.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the “no kill” animal shelter and the American Cancer Society.
