Lilian Miller, 52 of Grantsville went to be with the Lord on July 23, 2022, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born May 17, 1970 in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of Aleksander and Lucila (Nikolich) Eftosky.
Lilian began working at her parent’s Italian pizzeria in New Jersey, Lily’s Café when she was a teenager. When she moved to Maryland with her husband Scott she worked at several restaurants in the area. She graduated from Frostburg State University with two Bachelor of Science degrees. She worked at the Salem Children’s Trust and then at the Savage Mountain Youth Center. Lilian loved to travel. She and her husband went on many trips over the years. Lilian was so loved, she will be greatly missed.
Along with her parents, she is also survived by her loving husband, Scott Miller; her brother, Henry Eftosky and wife Chris; mother-in-law, Wilma Miller; brother-in-law, Dave Miller and wife, Kathy; and sister-in-law, Julie Bishop.
In accordance with her wishes, Lilian will be cremated and there will be a private service for the family.
Lilian’s family would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to Garrett County Hospice and The Schwab Family Cancer Center for their compassionate care, as well as Cindy’s Fund for their kindness.
Lilian is in the care of Boal Funeral Home.
