Leah Virginia Morrison, 96, of 212 Spruce St, Westernport, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland.
Born August 3, 1915 in Westernport, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Florence (Michael) Dolan. She was also preceded in death by her husband Virgil Woodward Morrison, a daughter, Delores Rooney, a son-in-law, James Rooney, and two sisters, Merle Laughlin and Eloise Michael. She was the last survivor of her immediate family.
Mrs. Morrison was a homemaker. She was a member of Westernport United Methodist Church.
She leaves behind a daughter, Linda Morrison of Westernport, three grandsons, Brian Rooney, Chris Rooney and Kevin Rooney, six great grandchildren, and two nieces, Patty Laughlin and Barbara Nicholson.
Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Friday from 11 AM to 1 PM. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home on Friday, with Pastor Sandy Cowan officiating.
Interment will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport.
