Krista Dixon

Keyser, WV

Krista Ann Dixon, 65 of Keyser passed away on September 2, 2022.

Born July 14, 1957, she was the daughter of the late James and Marian (Byer) Wilkinson. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Jemma Dawson; infant sister, Mary Wilkinson; and grandsons, Michael and JD Dixon.

Krista was a 1975 graduate of Bruce High School. Krista previously worked at Alpine Coal Mines and most recently worked at the Dominion Energy power plant. She was strong and courageous, having fought long battles with many illnesses over the years. Krista never met a stranger. She was a loving mother, wife, sister, aunt and friend.

Krista is survived by her husband, Herman Dixon; son, Andy Goff; sister Tricia Riley and husband Joe; step children, Edna Dixon-Blum and husband Raymond, James Dixon and Richard Dixon and wife Tammy. She is also survived by her brother-in-law; Scott Dawson, Jr; nephews, James Dawson and friend Chrissy, Scott Dawson III and friend Tina; nieces, Beth Keefe and husband Dan, and Tessa Booth and husband Josh. Krista is survived by grandchildren, LW Lower, Amy Dixon, Richard Dixon, Jr.; two great grandchildren, Wyatt and Zahara Lower; great nieces, Luella Keefe and Marie Booth; and great nephew Scott Dawson IV and his family.

Family and friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport on Wednesday, September 7th from 5 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, September 8th at 12:00 p.m. with Deacon Harold Bradley officiating.

Interment will be at St. Peter Cemetery, Westernport.
