Kenneth Schramm

Kenneth Schramm, 87, of Barton passed away on October 12, 2024. 

Born September 17, 1937, he was the son of the late William and Elizabeth (Brown) Schramm. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Roy, Clarence, Charles and Harold Schramm; his sisters, Anna Keen, Emma Howe, Mary Snyder, and June Kiddy; and a great grandson, Aaron Wilhelm. 

Kenny was a member of the Barton Hose company for 56 years. He volunteered his time running the fire company Bingo for more than 20 years. 

He is survived by his wife, Patty Schramm; children, Cindy (Doug) Carter, Kenneth (Tami) Schramm, Jr., Vickie Wilhelm, and Michael (Tracey) Schramm; and brother, Joseph (Regina) Schramm. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Matthew Carter, Brandon (Misti) Carter, Daniel (Kari) Schramm, Brittany Schramm, Timmy (Angie) Wilhelm, Sheena Bowman, Clinton (Kari) Wilhelm, Travis (Jenna) Wilhelm, Whitney (Bud) Brashear and Justin Schramm. He is survived by eighteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild on the way.  

Friends and family are welcome to gather at the First Presbyterian Church of Barton on Saturday, October 26th from 12 to 1 p.m. 

A memorial service will follow the gathering at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Thomas Morgan officiating. 

A reception will take place at the Barton Fire Hall following the memorial service. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the First Presbyterian Church of Barton or the Barton Hose Company.
