Rawlings, MD
Kathleen Rhea Biddle, 78, of McMullen Highway, Rawlings, passed away Friday, October 25, 2013 at her residence.
Born May 23, 1935 in Gilmore, she was the daughter of the late Earl Albert Bland and the late Ada Rhea (Myers) Bland Philpot and late step father, Francis “Dutchie” Philpot.
In Kathleen’s earlier years she was a beautician, having worked in the surrounding area. She eventually retired from Alco Glass and Mirror, Cumberland. She was a member of Queens Point V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary and the Keyser Moose Ladies Auxiliary.
She leaves behind her husband, Louis Irwin Biddle, three sons, Richard Biddle of McCoole, David Biddle and wife Debbie of Keyser, WV, John Biddle and wife Tammy of Keyser, WV, a daughter, Roxanne Bishop of Rawlings, and a brother, Earl Grant Bland and wife Connie of Williamsburg, VA. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Angela Whetzel and husband Mark, Jennifer Biddle, Niki Piraino and husband Devin, Brittany Biddle, John Mark Biddle, two step grandchildren, Destiny Amtower, Nicholas Amtower, and three great grandchildren, Makaylyn and Cheyenne Whetzel, and Collin Angle, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 1:00 PM, with Rev. William Shimer officiating.
Interment will be in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser, WV.
