Judith Ann Kasmier Kellison, formerly of Swanton, gained her angel wings and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 16, 2024.
Born November 23, 1953, in Keyser, WV, she was the daughter of the late James "Jim" Kasmier and Edna (Parish) Kasmier.
She was welcomed into Heaven by her parents and her precious son, Michael E. Kellison.
Judy is survived by her husband of 31 years, "Ed" Kellison; her siblings, James "Sam" Kasmier (Mikey), Kevin Kasmier (Gayle), Treva Steiding (Dave), Jeff Kasmier (Marsha Carpenter) and Sheila Davis (Johnny Hurst). She is also survived by her "other children", her nephew, Seth Steiding, wife Kylie, their children, Dominik and Rylie, and nephew, Ryan Steiding. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and several close relatives and friends.
Before her marriage to Ed, Judy worked in retail, as well as full-time babysitting. She was a woman of many talents. She was a Master Chef and Baker as she was well known for her scrumptious cooking and baking. Among her vast array of baking abilities were baking and decorating many birthday cakes and wedding cakes. Judy also had a love for music and was a very talented singer.
Judy was a very vibrant social butterfly, always giving, always helping and a witness for Christ in the nursing home where she and Ed resided. She was very much loved by the residents and the staff who knew her.
Judy really liked this writing and asked that it be shared... "I'm writing this from Heaven, where I dwell with God above. I am resting here with the angels, who surround me now with love; but though I may seem far away, we will never truly part. For part of me lives on with you, forever in your heart."
Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport on Thursday, August 22nd from 6 to 8 p.m.
A funeral service will take place at the Emmanuel Church in Keyser on Friday, August 23rd at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Donna Leatherman officiating.
