Joseph Melvin Kyle JR, 54, of Creekside Drive, Westernport, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at his residence.
Born July 29, 1957 in Keyser, WV, he was the son of the late Dorotheymae and Joseph M. Kyle SR. He was also preceded in death by his father-in-law, John Wilkinson SR, two brothers, Michael and Kenneth Kyle, a brother-in-law, Richard Wilkinson SR, and his special companion, Cashew.
Joey was a 1976 graduate of Bruce High School. He previously worked as a plumber around the local area, and most recently worked as truck mechanic. He was an avid baseball fan, hunter, fisherman, gardener and dog lover. Joey always loved helping anyone he could help.
He leaves behind his wife of 34 years, Terry Lynn (Wilkinson) Kyle, his children, Autumn Green and husband Chris of Westernport, Daniel Kyle SR and wife Laura of Flintstone, Joseph M. Kyle III and companion Nicole Elbin of Franklin, April Shugars and husband Charlie III of Franklin, three sisters, Joetta Ravenscroft of Keyser, WV, Lori Simpson of Clarksburg, WV, Julie Gaskin and husband Terry of Romeoville, IL, a mother-in-law, Geraldine (Keller) Wilkinson of Bropheytown, one sister-in-law, Judy Devlin and husband Bill of Midland, one brother-in-law, John Wilkinson JR and wife Tammy of Franklin. He is also survived by his grandkids, Bradley, Brendon, and Courtney Green, Andrew Kyle, Corey Harrison and Jacob Harrison, Breanna, Daniel JR, and Cassidy Kyle. Joey also considered his dogs as part of his family including, Bella, Buffy, Sugar, Peanut and Zip. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews including one special nephew, Richard Wilkinson JR and wife Crystal and great nephews and niece, Ethan, Levi and Nikoa.
Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Saturday from 5 to 7 PM. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM at the funeral home, with Rev. Gary Morris officiating.
Private interment will be at Mt. View Cemetery, Moscow Mills.
