Rawlings, MD
Jeannie Elena Holden, 60, of 21st Bridge Road, Rawlings passed away at her daughter’s home on December 4, 2012.
Born November 3, 1952, she was the daughter of the late William and Elena (Davis) Grogg.
Jeannie was a member of the Board of Directors for the American Cancer Society. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Westernport. She was formerly employed as an office manager at Smith Ford in Keyser, WV, before eventually retiring as a customer service representative with the Maryland Motor Vehicles Administration.
She leaves behind her husband, George Holden Jr.; a daughter, Cynthia Holden and boyfriend Jack Kenney of Westernport; a son Patrick Holden of Baltimore; four grandsons, Patrick Evans of Keyser, Jason Wilt, Shawn Wilt and Luke Wilt, all of Westernport; three brothers, William Grogg, Michael Grogg, Christopher Grogg; and four sisters, Karen House, Sharon Carr, Crystal Howlett, Samantha Strother.
Friends and family will be received at Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 122 Church Street, Westernport, on Saturday at 11:00 AM, with Father Edward Hendricks as celebrant.
Interment will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Westernport.
