James W. “Coffee” Miller, 78, passed away on February 12, 2013 at his residence peacefully in his sleep with his family by his side.
Born on January 9, 1935, he was the son of the late Frank W. Miller and Gladys (Tibbitts) Miller Beeman. He is also preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Kenneth Miller, Jack Miller, Joe Miller, Bonnie Sherman and Frances Sowers.
Jimmy was an Army veteran where he served as a field radio repairman stationed in Fort Huachuca, Arizona. He was a graduate of Potomac State College, Keyser. He worked for Westvaco for 38 years as a Recovery Supervisor in the Power Center. Jimmy was a devoted father and grandfather and an avid card player.
Jimmy is survived by his brother, Richard Miller, Pittsburgh, PA; his children, Linda Harshbarger and fiancé Charles Salesky, Keyser, “Peanut” Miller and wife Cindy, Piedmont, Kenny Miller and wife Denese, Keyser and Sue Ann Miller, Piedmont. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Josh Miller, Stacie Nelson, Josiah Miller, Jared Miller, Brandon Miller, Mike Green and Jessi Miller; his great grandchildren; Ryan, Anthony, Zach, Aiden, Nathan, Andy, Leah, Sam and Kayah; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received at Boal Funeral Home, Westernport on Thursday, February 14th from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, February 15th at 11:00 AM with Pastor Bill Kady officiating.
Interment will be in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser with military honors accorded.
