James Edward Spiker, 62, of Westernport, died Wednesday May 2, 2012 at his residence.
Born March 19, 1950 in Franklin, he was the son of the late Harrison and Ida (Smiley) Spiker. He is also preceded in death by a brother Robert Spiker and a sister Mary Parker.
James was a loader operator for Perry Engineering in Winchester, VA.
He is survived by his loving wife Sue Spiker; two sons, James Spiker and Chris, Petersburg, WV and Aaron Spiker, Westernport; two brothers, Carl Spiker and Shirley, Oakland, and Tommy Spiker & Cindy, Lonaconing; three sisters, Betty Moses and Charlie, Lonaconing, JoAnn Spiker and David, Lonaconing, and Nancy Bray and Donnie, Franklin; and five grandchildren, Courtney Spiker, Cheyanne Spiker, Chelsea Spiker, Cody Jackson and Chance Jackson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Spiker Family will receive friends at Boal Funeral Home on Friday, May 4th from 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 8 PM with Rev. Robert Whitecotton officiating.
Interment will be in Mt. View Cemetery, Barton.
