Howard “Rick” Warnick, 58, of Hampshire Ave, Bloomington, passed away Monday, July 23, 2012 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland.
Born May 4, 1954 in Keyser, WV, he was the son of the late Howard Mason and Ethelyn Louise (McIntyre) Warnick.
“Rick” was a 1972 graduate of Bruce High School. He also graduated from Potomac State College, Keyser, WV. He was retired from WEPCO Federal Credit Union, Bloomington, having been President. He was a member of Piedmont Presbyterian Church.
He leaves behind two sisters, Sheila Louise Wildesen and husband Gerald of Mt. Lake Park, and Judith Ann Bishop and husband Oliver of Cumberland. He is also survived by his nephews and nieces, David Wildesen and wife Jessica, Darrin Wildesen and wife Mayjel, Corey Bittinger and wife Jo, Tonia Racer and husband David, his great nephews and great nieces, Harleigh Wildesen, Damin Wildesen, and Trenton Rhodes, and his uncle, Robert McIntyre of Westernport and his children.
At “Ricks” request, there will be no visitation or funeral.
A graveside service will be conducted at Garrett Memorial Gardens, Oakland, on Wednesday at 11:00 AM, with Minister George Randall officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Bloomington Volunteer Fire Company, Bloomington, MD, or the Tri-Towns Rescue Squad, Westernport, MD.
