Helen Fazenbaker

Helen Novella Fazenbaker, 83, went to be with her Lord on Friday, August 3, 2018.

Born September 2, 1934 in Luke, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Mary Blanche (Fisher) Crites.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry S. Fazenbaker, and two brothers, Luther “Nip” Crites and Allen “Chick” Crites.

Helen retired in 1983 with 20 years of service from the A & P Grocery store having worked along-side her husband. She was a member of Westernport Church of the Brethren, and in her earlier years an avid bowler.

She leaves behind a sister-in-law, Mary Louise Green, nieces; Vicki Hardman and Rhonda Larson, nephews; Rev. Luther “Nip” Crites and Dennis Crites.

There will be no visitation.

A funeral service will be conducted at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Tuesday at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Diane May officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Allegany County Animal Shelter, 716 Furnace St, Cumberland, MD
