Harold Ervin Hines

Harold Ervin Hines, 54 of Frederick and formerly of Swanton passed away on September 2, 2023, at the Frederick Health and Rehabilitation Center.

He is now at peace with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ where he can see and walk and talk again and trying to convince the angels to play a little classic rock music- his favorite.

Born May 10, 1969, he was the son of the late Frieda Mae Virgina (Smith) Morton. He was also preceded in death by a brother, John Russell Morton, Jr.

Harold is survived by his siblings, Edward A. Morton of Greencastle, IN, Janice L. Beachy of Grantsville, MD. Kenneth Morton (Kathy) of Westernport, MD. Dennis W. Morton (Brenda) of Swanton, MD. Thomas A. Morton of McCoole, MD. Debra E. Bennett of Mt. Lake Park, MD. Rhonda F. Warnick (Robert) of Augast, WV. Ray J. Mayhew, JR. (Bonnie) of Biloxi, MS; and sister-in-law Debra Ann Morton of Swanton, MD. He is also survived special nieces; Jessica M Paugh of Baltimore, MD. Sarah M. Moore of Hollywood, MD; special great nephew Nicholas A. Pittman of Baltimore, MD; and special great niece Lucy E. Moore of Hollywood, MD; and numerous nieces, nephews and loved ones.

The Family would like to extend a special Thank you to the Nurses and Staff of Cherry Hill Assisted Living Facility and Fredrick Health and Rehabilitation Center
who cared for Harry, in his last years of life. 

A Celebration of Life will be held privately at a later date for family and friends to gather in his memory.
