Glen Rose McCutcheon, 80, of Red Rose Lane, Moscow, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at her residence.
Born April 15, 1931 in Pekin, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Emma (Brown) Bostjancic. She was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, John Beeman, Evelyn (Beeman) Llewellyn, Tony Bostjancic, Frank Bostjancic, Mary (Bostjancic) Watkins, Christina (Bostjancic) DeVault, Delores (Bostjancic) Martin, and Emma (Bostjancic) DeStefano.
Glen Rose formerly worked at the pajama factory in Frostburg, before eventually retiring from Frostburg Village Nursing Home. She was also an elderly care sitter for many years. She was a member of Bethel Holiness Church, Lonaconing, and a former member of the Moscow Nazarene Church. Glen Rose was a great lady who will be missed not only by her family but by a whole community. She loved everybody she ever met and knew how to instantly put you at ease. She has now joined her Lord and Savior in Heaven and will carry on for eternity, as she leaves behind her husband, Charles Lee McCutcheon, whom she married March 18, 1949. She is also survived by her children, Nancy L. Evans and husband Ben of Lonaconing, Charles Ray McCutcheon and wife Cindi (Carr) of Barton, Tommy A. McCutcheon and wife Glenna (Lee) of Barton, grandchildren, Brian McCutcheon, Ben Evans, Jesse Evans, Wesley McCutcheon and wife Carrie, Ashley (McCutcheon) Arceo and husband Abhram, Brandon Carr, Brett McCutcheon, her great grandchildren, Alex Arceo, and Amaya Arceo, a sister, Thelma (Bostjancic) Blank of Mechanicsburg, PA, sisters-in-law, Ruth (McCutcheon) Nichol of Lonaconing and Freda (McCutcheon) Noyes of Billings, MT, and a brother-in-law, Harry McCutcheon of Moscow.
The family will receive friends at the Boal Memorial Chapel, Barton, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at the Boal Chapel on Saturday at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Mark McAlister officiating.
Interment will be private at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow Mills.
