Frances Ann Elliott, 87, formerly of Barton passed away on January 12, 2015 at Frostburg Village Assisted Living.
Born on May 5, 1927 in Barton, she was the daughter of the late William and Sue (Pearce) McConnell. She is also preceded in death by her husband Warren “Tooter” Elliot; her sons, Eric, William, Kenneth, and Stuart Elliott; a brother William McConnell; sisters, Phyllis Howell and Dora Davis; a grandson, Mark Elliott; and a son-in-law, Bill Norris.
Mrs. Elliott was a 1945 graduate of Barton High School. After high school she worked at ABL. She was married to her husband, Warren in 1945. Mrs. Elliott was a member of the Barton United Methodist Church. She was the organist in the church for 30 years. She was also a member of the church choir and the Friendly Helper’s Club. Mrs. Elliott was a wonderful cook. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Elliott is survived by her children; Robert Elliott and wife Annie of Barton, Roger Elliott and wife Kathy of Keyser, WV, Diane Norris of Richmond, VA and Donna Athey and Junior of Pinto. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Chris Llewellyn of Cumberland, Gale Basch of Richmond, VA, Jeff Llewellyn of Hollywood, Matthew Llewellyn of Virginia Beach, VA, Curt Llewellyn of Virginia Beach, VA, Clifton Elliott of England, Timothy Elliott of San Jose, CA, Carol Elliott of Dallas, TX, Diane Kelly of Clearwater, FL, Wayne Elliott of Keyser, WV, Lee Elliott of Keyser, WV, Shane Elliott of Midland, Eric Elliott of Barton; and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Friends and family will be received at the Boal Memorial Chapel, Barton, on Friday from 6 to 8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at the Barton United Methodist Church at 1:00 pm with Pastor Sandy Cowan officiating.
Interment will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport.
