Elden R. “Bump” Saville Jr., 65 of West Hampshire St, Piedmont, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland, MD.
Born July 29, 1947 in Keyser, he was the son of the late Elden Saville Sr, and the late Carolyn (Harshbarger) Saville.
“Bump” was a United States Marine Corp Veteran, having served during the Vietnam War. He was a retired truck driver.
He leaves behind two sons, Jeff Ziler and Tabby of Piedmont, Joseph Saville and wife Jamie of Piedmont, one daughter, Kimberly Mayhew and husband Robert of Keyser, five grandchildren, Jeff Ziler Jr, Jacob Ziler, Alex Mayhew, Thomas Mayhew, and Matthew Mayhew. He is also survived by two brothers, Charles Saville and Philip Saville both of Piedmont, and one sister, Deloris Simon of Piedmont and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Friends and family will be received at Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Monday, November 5th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday, November 5th at 1:00 PM.
Interment will be in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser, with military honors accorded at graveside.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, MD, to help defray funeral expenses.
