Dorothy G. Marsh, 90, formerly of 105 Roosevelt St, Westernport, and most recently of Egle Nursing and Rehab Center, Lonaconing, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at the nursing center.
Born June 7, 1921 in Maysville, WV, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Bessie (Rohrbaugh) Keplinger. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Chester Wingfield Marsh, a son, Chester Robert Marsh and a grandson, Jason Manning Mroz.
Dorothy retired from Westvaco Corp, having worked in the lab. She was a member of Westernport Church of the Brethren. She was a well known seamstress, and enjoyed upholstering, dress making and quilting.
She leaves behind a daughter, Sondra Kay Mroz of San Diego, CA, a sister, Mary Harman of Maysville, WV, four grandchildren, Tonya Klacik and husband Bill of Burlington, WV, Jeff Marsh and wife Denise of Barton, Sean Marsh of Westernport, and Melissa Mendoza of San Diego, CA. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Friday from 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Diane May and Rev. William Shimer officiating.
Interment will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport.
