Charles Paskun

Cumberland, MD

Charles Francis Paskun, 73 of Cumberland and formerly of Lonaconing passed away on December 31, 2022.

Born May 3, 1949, he was the son of the late Charles and Edna (Cutter) Paskun. He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Nellie Cutter.

Charles was a 1967 graduate of Valley High School where he played several instruments in the school band. He played the clarinet in the Potomac Concert Band. Charles graduated from Allegany Community College in 1970 with and associates degree. He retired form Sacred Heart Hospital after 27 years in 2013, and he retired from Executive Billing in Cumberland in 2014 to care for his mother.

Charles is survived by his aunt Carole Wilson and husband John; cousins, Linda DeShong and husband Terry, Gregory Wilson, Doug Wilson, Ronnie Wilson and Diane Cantine and husband Earl. He is also survived by his best friend, Dennis Tipton; and his pet, Kat.

In accordance with his wishes, Charles will be cremated and he will be laid to rest with his parents at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Westernport.
