Catherine D. Orndorff, 86, of 25801 Shady Lane, Westernport, passed away Friday, November 27, 2015 at Frostburg Village Nursing Home.
Born July 26, 1929 in Westernport, she was the daughter of the late Guy Raymond and Catherine Theresa (Nau) Orndorff.
Catherine leaves behind her longtime companion, Alex Ambrose, one sister, Patricia Haywood of Laurel, MD and Patricia’s son-in-law, Neill Birchoff and children, Josh and Andrew of Roanoke, VA. She is also survived by her nephews, Richard Bevers and wife Sherri of Charleston, WV, and Alvin Bevers and wife Joanie of Florida, her niece, Christa Echer and husband Bruce and their son Andy of Middletown, MD.
Catherine donated her body to the WV Human Gift Registry.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, is in charge of arrangements.
