Carol Kelly

Carol Lee Kelly, 87 of Rawlings passed away on August 2, 2022.

Born April 1, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Ellis Walter and Anna Alice (Clayton) Burke. She is also preceded in death by her husband Ernest Kelly.

Carol was a member of the Westernport Church of the Brethren, where she served as the director of the choir and occasionally accompanied on the piano. Carol had a beautiful voice, many people within the community recall her singing at weddings. One of Carol’s favorite pastimes was kicking up her feet doing the jitterbug.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Terri Kelly and fiancé Jimmy Owens of Spring, TX; her siblings, Jimmy Burke and wife Lois of Cumberland, Marcia Parsons and husband Al of Luke, and Debra Morton of Swanton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at Boal Funeral Home, Westernport on Monday, August 8th from 1 to 3 p.m. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Allie Crowe officiating.
