Betty Lee Wilt

Betty Lee Wilt, 81 of Keyser passed away at her home with her loving family by side on November 16, 2024. 

Born September 13, 1943, she is the daughter of the late Walter and Rosie (Baker) Lough. She was also preceded in death by the love of her life, Raymond Wilt; and her brothers, Jim and Don Lough. 

Betty grew up in Franklin, MD and was a graduate of Bruce High School. She was a dedicated CNA at Moran Manor for ten years where she was lovingly known by her coworkers as “Waltweena”. Betty enjoyed making crafts, when she started a project, she always finished it.  

The matriarch of her family, and sometimes considered bossy, Betty dedicated her life to her family. She loved her husband Raymond until “death do us part”. Betty was the “Best Grandma Ever”. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. 

Betty is survived by her children, David Lough of Keyser, Pamela Harvey and significant other Rholand “JR” Beals of Frostburg, and Rayma Blizzard and husband Carl of Keyser; brother, Roger “Buck” Lough and wife Bonnie of Cumberland; and sister, Darlene Guinn of Keyser. Betty is also survived by her grandchildren, Clifton Lough and fiancée Jen, William “Lonnie” Harvey and wife Nicole, Johnna Emrick and husband Dylan, Jessica Gibbs and husband Brian, Tabetha Blough and husband Michael; her best friend, Margie Ruppenkamp; and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. 

Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport on Tuesday, November 19th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. 

A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 20th at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Timothy Bittinger officiating. 

Interment will be at Mt. View Cemetery, Moscow Mills.
