Betty Shugars

Betty Lou Shugars, 75 of Westernport passed away on October 10, 2020.

Born February 14, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Palie (Grimm) Shockey Liller.

Betty was a well-loved person. She never met a stranger, was very kind, and always took care of those who needed anything. Betty is treasured and will be missed by all who knew her.

Betty is survived by her husband of 60 years, Charles Shugars, Sr.; sons, Charles Shugars, Jr. and Ernest Shugars, Sr.; her special grandsons who were very close to her, Charles Shugars III and Ernest Shugars, Jr; and her special great-grandchildren, Andrew Kyle and Keiarah Shugars. Betty is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and two sisters.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Boal Funeral Home, Westernport from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Gary Morris officiating.

Interment will be at Cabin Run Cemetery, Keyser, West Virginia.
