Betty Leeann Mullan, 90, of New Shawnee Road, Westernport, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser, WV.
Born July 21, 1921 in Westernport, she was the daughter of the late Ted and Ruth (Spriggs) Reeves. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul K. Mullan in 1967, a sister and brother-in-law, Jean and David Hagenbuch, a brother and sister-in-law, Don and Mary Reeves, a sister-in-law, Lydia Reeves, and a daughter-in-law, Christine Elliott-Mullan.
Mrs. Mullan was a 1939 graduate of Bruce High School. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Piedmont, WV, and a member of Beta Eta of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She was also a volunteer for the American Red Cross bloodmobile.
She leaves behind three sons, Paul H. Mullan and wife Michelle of Weston, CT, Mick Mullan of Cockeysville, MD Michael Mullan of Fort Myers, FL, a daughter, Vicki Mullan of Orlando, FL, a brother, Gerald Reeves of Frostburg Village Nursing Home, and a sister, Peggy Newlon and husband Jim of Westernport, MD. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Katherine, Elizabeth, John, Sam, David and Jeff and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Wednesday July 4th from 4 to 7 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home chapel on Thursday July 5th at 10:00 AM, with Rev. Bart Thompson officiating.
Interment will be Philos Cemetery, Westernport.
