Betty Lou Gift

Betty Lou (Fike) Gift, 81, of Westernport passed away on October 8, 2023 at Brooke Grove Nursing Home in Sandy Spring, MD.

Born October 31, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Dorothy (Linkswiler) Fike.  She was also preceded in her death by her husband Paul Gift.

Betty Lou was a 1959 graduate of Bruce High School, attended Catherman’s Business School in Cumberland, MD, and was a lifelong member of the Westernport Church of the Brethren.

Betty Lou is survived by her children, Tim Gift and wife Kathy, of Oakland MD, Dana Gift and wife Laurie of Fulton, MD, and Jennifer Gift of Oakland MD; five grandchildren, Russell Gift, Daniel Metcalfe, Jennifer Gift, Emily Gift, Sarah Gift Kirkley, and Sam Gift; and four great grandchildren, Caden, Maggie, Piper, and Hughie.

Family and friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport on Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 1 to 2 p.m. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Allie Crowe officiating.  Interment will be at Philos Cemetery, Westernport.
