Betty Lee Clise, 88, of Liberty St, Keyser, formerly of Westernport, MD, went to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family at Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser, on Friday, January 25, 2013
Born July 27, 1924 in Keyser, she was the daughter of the late Charles B. and Alma G. (Mitter) Enos. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James “Buck” Clise, a daughter, Linda Miller and a brother, Oscar Enos. She was the last survivor of her immediate family.
Betty was a longtime waitress at Green’s Restaurant in Westernport, where she was well known for her famous chili and vegetable soup. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Keyser. Betty was loved and respected by all for her kind heart and great faith. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her great grandchildren.
She leaves behind a daughter, Marsha Sargent and husband Gary of Keyser, a son-in-law, Jeff Miller of Keyser, three granddaughters, Deanna Ludwick and husband “B” of New Creek, Cari Healy and husband Matt of New Creek, Lisa Carr and husband Bill of New Creek, ten great grandchildren, Destiney, Will, Julia, Haley, Kirstie, Alyvea, Chloe, Graci, Seth and Austyn, and four great-great grandchildren.
Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, MD, on Monday, January 28th from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, January 29th at 11:00 AM, with Rev. James McCune officiating.
Interment will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport, MD.
