Anna Lea Mccormick

Anna Lea McCormick, 79, of Williamsport and formerly of Barton went home with the Lord on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown.

Born in Barton on May 7, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Edward Charles and Anna Mary (Ross) Pysell.

Anna Lea was a full-time homemaker and loving mother. She especially enjoyed her years serving others in need as the Captain of the Georges Creek Ambulance Service. Anna Lea also enjoyed being a member of the Barton Homemakers.

Anna Lea is survived by a son, Randall McCormick and wife, Jennifer of Frostburg; a daughter, Connie Sarver and husband, Phillip of Hagerstown; grandsons, Tristan Sarver and Nathan McCormick; granddaughter, MaryJane McCormick; and her special companion, Taz.

Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, October 5th at the Boal Memorial Chapel, Barton from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.

Wearing a mask is encouraged.

Interment will be at Garrett County Memorial Gardens, Oakland.
