He is also survived by his stepchildren , Amanda Wagnor and husband Nathan Wagnor, Ashley Saville and husband Donald “Gumby” Saville, and Josh Cameron and wife Caitlin Cameron. Jim leaves behind seven wonderful step grandchildren: Emma, Mathew, Elizabeth, Scarlett, Aaron, Khloe, and Maddox.
He is also survived by a brother Tony Greco and his son Jeff Greco; sister Nancy Haggerty of Keyser and her children Robert (Bobby) Haggerty, Barbara Fields and Darin Haggerty; sister Jane Mulford and husband Jack of Burlington, WVa., and their daughter Tina Trottier; sister Peggy Armentrout and husband Butch of Keyser and their children Kimberly Junkins and Craig Armentrout, and his late sister Patricia Fertig’s children Theresa Courtney and Michael Fertig.
He has many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and numerous cousins and will be greatly missed by all. Jim was always an animal lover. His beloved pets Maggie, Ollie, Pup, and Ouija will never be the same without him.
Proceeding him in death besides his parents were two sisters, Patricia Fertig and Debra Greco.
Jim graduated from Piedmont High School and soon afterwards was drafted in the army and sent to Vietnam. He served there until 1968. When he returned home Jim and his friend Terry Clark opened a garage in Piedmont where they built the famous “King Rat” car.
Later he worked at the paper mill for a short time, then went to work with his Dad at the Greco’s Upholstery Shop on Keyser Road.
Jim was very seldom an angel, but I am sure by now he has earned his wings. He never met a stranger and would light up any room he entered. It is a comfort to know that he is finally at peace.
